Lightner Granite was recommended to me by Creative Custom Cabinets. Going from laminate countertops to a natural stone was exciting and a little confusing as well. The folks at Lightner Granite took the time to explain how the process worked and answered questions whenever they came to me. My job was simple – pick the granite I wanted, choose the edge I liked and decide whether I wanted a backsplash or not. I also needed to pick out a sink & faucet.

Finding the granite that worked for my kitchen was the hard part. Too many beautiful slabs out there! The folks at Lightner Granite were patient and had several places to go look to make sure I found something I was happy with for a long time.

And I did! It’s been a few weeks since my granite has been installed and I couldn’t be happier! Their commitment to perfection was amazing! I am so grateful that they took the time & effort to make my beautiful kitchen even more special.

A few years ago, we built a new home. With the new home came the philosphy to build it once and build it right. We had used Corian counter tops at our previous home and liked it. When it was time to purchase counter tops at our new home, we were persuaded (by another company) to purchase a prduct that was "just like Corian, but less expensive". Big mistake! The material scratched easily and had many qualities that were less than idea. After visiting (a friend's) home where Lightner Granite had fabricated and installed their granite counter tops, we decided to go with granite as well. Scott was very professional. He measured; made a stencil; showed us many samples to choose from; did a great job installing the granite; made several improvements in the support of a breakfast bar area; was able to cut a sink into the granite, and just did a super job...and he cleaned-up after himself. He was very customer oriented...concerned with what pleases the customer vs. what pleases him. He had a lot of very good advice and suggestions.

We are very pleased with the results.
